This is my opinion of The Runesilk Dark Night Bedtime Beard Butter
I HAVE RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST & UNBIASED REVIEW
VIDEO REVIEW AT END OF POST!
It is hard to believe but this is the 624th beard care product review I have posted! (excludes combs, brushes etc)
I used to highly recommend a beard butter but had to stop doing so after some issues with non delivery of products
Since then I haven’t been able to find something of that calibre and I have had guys on Guardians of the Beard Facebook group asking for recommendations and I haven’t had any.
But that problem has now been resolved with the arrival of the Runesilk Dark Night Bedtime Beard Butter!
I was worried and indeed the owner and creator of Runesilk was worried about this review, I wasn’t so concerned about quality as Daniel hasn’t put a foot wrong so far but with this heat, the risk is that a whipped product could collapse.
The 60ml beard butter is a blend of;
- Shea Butter
- Mango Butter
- Cocoa Butter
- Grapeseed Oil
- Jojoba, Argan
- Sea Buckthorn Oil
And oh damn it is so good.
It very much at first reminds me of the previous product that I loved so much, but when you work it in your hands, it doesn’t have that sticky or gloopy tendency that the other one could if too much was used.
I am so happy with the feel and the results from this product, this heat can dry our beards but the Runesilk Dark Night Bedtime Beard Butter takes care of that.
It is advertised and sold as a product for use at bedtime as the name implies but I think this has more than enough potential for use as a daytime styling butter as well.
It is sold as a bed time butter and has a scent blend of essential oils that have been chosen to help give you a good nights sleep.
The blend is;
- Clary Sage
It is very summery, Lavender pops out at the front but it just reminds me of a herb garden as you run your fingers through the plants and that is very okay with me.
The 60ml tin of the Dark Night Bedtime Beard Butter presented in a brown card box will cost you £14.95 from the Runesilk website.
