I was sent a Beard brush from the famous English company ‘G B Kent & Sons Ltd’, a company that  has been manufacturing brushes since 1777 and they are one of the oldest established companies in Great Britain.

Kent Brushes facia

As well as the beard brush Kent manufacture brushes for hair, body, clothes, make-up, teeth and that dreaded practice of shaving!

Kent beard brush

The Kent beard brush is very different to any other that I have seen or used, when you purchase the brush you have the choice of a left or right handed brush and this is because the boar bristles are cut and shaped.

Despite the fact that this is a brush made of boar bristles, it is quite soft compared to the military style grooming brushes that many bearded men use.

I struggle with the stiff grooming brush that I already had, I find it’s a little too harsh on my skin and so the Kent beard brush has now taken its place. However do not fear, if you prefer a stiffer brush, Kent have a wide range of brushes and some of the bearded guys with thicker bigger beards that I have spoken to use Kent’s  PF05 brush and love it.

The brush is a beautiful product with a contoured wooden handle that has the Kent logo on the reverse of the bristles and a beard logo on the handle, this is a high quality brush that is so comfortable to hold and use.

The Kent Beard brush can be purchased by clicking the Buy button at top of review as well as many beard care companies and high street stores stock the brush.

Kent royal-warrant

Kent received their first Royal warrant from George III and since then have received warrants continuously from monarchs up to the present day.
