I have spent the past few days using Brott’s Beard Care ‘Cinnamon Vanilla’ Beard Oil.

Brott’s Beard care is based in Florida and like many bearded men, the owner Kelly Brott started out blending beard oil for his own personal use. Soon it was clear that his product was becoming more and more sought after and so over the next few years Brott’s Beard Care was born.

The ‘Cinnamon Vanilla’ beard oil is made up of Grapeseed, Sweet Almond, Jojoba and Argan carrier oils with a blend of Vanilla, Cinnamon Leaf, Sweet Orange and Cinnamon Bark essential oils.

The oil is heavier oil but doesn’t leave your beard greasy, I prefer a heavier oil as it helps to give hold to your beard. After pumping some oil in my palm I warmed it up by rubbing my hands together and this releases the scents of the essential oils, the aroma of the Cinnamon leaf gives the oil a slightly almost peppery spiciness and the vanilla and Sweet Orange come in afterwards.

The spicy Cinnamon leaf works very well with the sweetness of the Orange and Vanilla and also the Cinnamon bark.

The oil left my beard feeling naturally soft and looking good, the essential oils aren’t too strong and are blended very well meaning that no one oil overpowers another.

I have really enjoyed using this oil and wouldn’t think twice about recommending it to a fellow bearded brother. The carrier oils are not only beneficial to your beard, they help relieve the dreaded beard itch and keep your skin and pores in good condition, which in turns means good healthy beard growth.

The oil comes in a 30ml/1 fl oz glass bottle with a pump dispenser and is available from the Brott’s Beard Care website for $18.99. Brott’s Beard Care beard oil is also available in Sweet Tobacco, Orange Spice, Sweet Citrus and Unscented and the reviews for Orange Spice and Sweet Citrus will follow soon.

The Following is taken from the About Us page on the website;

Brott’s Beard Care began in the fall of 2014 after many attempts to grow and more importantly keep my beard.  I discovered beard oil, and like many bearded men, I tried a few of the more popular brands.  Even though they made my beard feel good, I wasn’t crazy about the scents that were available.  I began experimenting with making my own beard oil and after numerous variations, the original cinnamon vanilla blend was born. As my beard continued to grow, people started asking me what I was using to take care of it.  After giving away a number of bottles to friends, with many asking to buy more, a business was born.

Over the next couple of years the business evolved into Brott’s Beard Care, with the addition of an all natural beard balm and wash.  As we continue to grow, it will always be my promise to make all of our products by hand, with the finest all natural ingredients.  Every product created is tested and used on my beard.  I will never sell a product that I don’t love and use myself.

I believe that every business, big or small, should give something back to the community, so I am happy to donate 5% of all sales to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.  If you would like more information on the great work they do, please visit pfc.org.
