Over the past few days I have been using The Beardy Beard Company ‘Black Russian’ Beard Oil, this is an oil that took six months to get it just how they wanted it, a beard oil that as its name implies has the scent of the cocktail that is made up of vodka and coffee liqueur.

The Beardy Beard Company ‘Black Russian’ Beard Oil is made up of a blend of Sweet Almond, Grape Seed, Hemp and Vitamin E carrier oils to give your beard and skin not only a good hold but also to help stop the dreaded beard itch and to help promote strong healthy beard growth.

Into that base of oils Vanilla, Arabica coffee bean, Sweet Orange, Clove and Bay essential oils have been added in the perfect quantities to give the oil that ‘Black Russian’ scent.

The Beardy Beard Company ‘Black Russian’ Beard Oil left my beard feeling and looking good, it gave it a nice hold and it has that deep bitter smell of coffee beans with a subtle sweetness from Vanilla and Sweet Orange.

Unfortunately I don’t get any hint of Clove, I know many people like it but many including me are put off oils containing Clove, this oil has been balanced so beautifully that you don’t get that strong clove smell, it just sits amongst the other oils adding to the scent and not powering through like it does in some beard oils.

The beardy Beard Co Tee

Now I was also kindly sent this Signature 100% cotton Limited Edition White Tee Shirt with the ‘Black Russian’ Beard oil and ‘3 Kings’ Balm, now here lies the problem!

The above picture of the Tee is taken from the website, it looks incredible, however when I put it on I was really disappointed.

It looks nothing like it did in the photo, the front is all fat and you can’t see my six-pack and I look damn old. I’m not happy!

Anyway back to the oil, if you are a coffee lover, in fact forget that because I’m not and I still really like this oil. This is one of those really good oils that I place in my favourites collection.

‘Black Russian’ is available from The Beardy Beard Co website for £14.95 and comes in a   30 ml glass bottle with a pump applicator and you can also keep up to date with all things to do with The Beardy Beard Co on Twitter and Facebook.
