I have been using Woodland Zest Beard Oil from Hugo Emmerson, a new beard care Brand that is launching soon.

If you are on Instagram or Facebook then you can’t possibly have missed their pre-launch, they have been sending out free products left, right and centre to get the word out about their beard care products.

I managed to get my hands on a bottle of the Woodland Zest, a beard oil made up from a base of Coconut, Rice Bran and Jojoba carrier oils with a blend of Mandarin, Patchouli, Rosewood and Grapefruit essential oils.

The result is a soft sweet smell from the mandarin with a freshness from the grapefruit, the Patchouli and Rosewood sit behind creating a warm a warm back note and I like it, in fact I really like it. I haven’t come across Rice Bran oil in a beard care product before, but it certainly should be given more consideration, it is rich in Vitamin E and has great anti ageing properties and works without leaving a greasy residue.

Woodland Zest Beard Oil from Hugo Emmerson not only smells amazing, it also left my beard looking good as it gives a nice hold to your beard and softens the beard hair without leaving it feeling or looking greasy. Of course don’t forget that these oils are just as much if not more important to the skin under your beard, they will help prevent beard itch and dry skin and so a beard oil should be worked in down through the beard onto the skin.

Hugo Emmerson have now launched their website and you can now get your hands on those products that we have eagerly awaited.

The Beard oil is available in two sizes, the 10ml size is available for £8.49 as a once off purchase or on subscription for £6.79 every Month/2 months/3 months and a 30ml for £17.99 or on subscription for £14.39 every Month/2 months/3 months.

The Beard Oil is also available in Alpine Fresh, Caribbean Spice and Sandalwood and the oils can be purchased as a 30ml Duo for £34.18, a Trio for £48.57 and all four oils for £61.17 and you can choose which scents you want in all those options.

Hugo Emmerson also sell Beard Balms, Beard Shampoo, Beard Soap and a range of Beard Care Kits.
