Last but certainly not least from this brand is The Old Norse ‘Hunters’ Beard Oil.
I loved the balm of the same scent and already knew that the quality of the oil was fantastic and so there was no surprises here.
Bergamot, Clary Sage and Cedarwood scented The Old Norse ‘Hunters’ Beard Oil has a fresh and fruity citrus scent with the herby and aromatic Sage and then followed by the fresh and woodyness of the Cedarwood.
Cedarwood is a bit hit and miss with me. However when it is blended well with oils that work with the fresh and woody scent as it is here, I really like it and appreciate its addition!
I know that scent is personal and so my likes may not be somebody elses likes and vice versa, but it is important to discuss scent as some are very basic and the oils may not compliment each other or one may be too over powering. So as it is with this oil, it’s important to mention that the scent is blended well. Of course I do score as to my personal preference and so that is worth considering.
The base for this is Jojoba, Argan, Sweet Almond, Apricot, Avocado and Vit E carrier oils, the golden oil has a medium consistency and works quickly and easily into the beard hair leaving it looking good and giving a slight hold. The oil doesn’t leave the beard feeling greasy as some oils can and the oil keeps the beard feeling softer all day.
The 30ml oil comes with a glass dropper to dispense the oil which is my prefered method, the Hunters beard oil is available from The Old Norse website for £13.49.
