It is always handy to have a torch to hand but for me holding a torch and then having to propel my wheelchair makes it awkward.

So the solution is to use a headtorch that is secured around your head with a band and like many of us, my first port of call was the Chinese online shop Wish.

The Wish online shop is perfect if you want a product at a cheap price and don’t mind waiting 4 to 6 weeks for delivery, although they do have some items available on an express delivery.

I found this headlamp and it did what I needed without being too over the top like some of the other headlamps.

It was priced at … Free!

Now of course I know it isn’t free but with only £3 shipping it was a no brainer, but I did wonder about the quality.

I needn’t have worried, 2 weeks earlier than stated the headlamp arrived and I am more than happy with it’s quality.

Wish headlamp torch

It has four modes that are selected via the button on the top, Turbo/Mid/Strobe/SOS.

The turbo is of course the brightest setting and the next press dims it slightly and then the next turns off the main light and switches on the red led lights and then what they call SOS is the red led lights flashing aand would be prefect on a bike if the torch was faced backwards.

The light is also hinged and can be adjusted downwards in varying degrees.

It takes three AAA batteries.

No many will claim that the Chinese products from Wish are poor quality but in fact if you was to head to eBay or Amazon, the products you see on there for a much higher price are likely made by the same people.

So if you are looking for a headlamp, I can highly recommend this little headlamp!

It is a no frills headlamp that is waterproof, a nice quality and has the benefits of the 4 functions and hinged light feature.

I can now wheel round in the dark looking like a fat Dalek!

  1. If you sit on a revolving stool with your headlamp on and get your better half to slowly push you around in circles, you can pretend to be a lighthouse!!!! Hours of fun………. What!?!?! 😁 😁 😁
