This review of the Woodies CBD Hand Sanitiser comes just a few weeks after I was in our local pharmacy picking up my meds when I saw some CBD hand sanitiser for sale.
I think I may have screwed my face up with confusion!
Was this just another attempt to boost product sales by jumping on the CBD bandwagon?
But typical of me, I wasn’t thinking and had I have thought more about it, I would have remembered that I have used skincare products that have contained CBD and that CBD has a lot of beneficial properties for our skin and so it made sense!
The Woodies CBD Hand Sanitiser comes in a 50ml bottle with a spray applicator and it contains 250mg of Pure CBD Oil.
I don’t often go out and so I gave the Woodies CBD Hand Sanitiser to my wife a couple of weeks ago when she took our grandkids to soft play with her mum and her sister in law and her son, it was the ideal opportunity to get some feedback.
And of course I have also used it!
They liked the fact that it was a spray and that it was quickly absorbed into the skin unlike some of the gel hand sanitisers that can leave your hands a bit slippery after use.
They said it felt nice and that it didn’t give their hands that dryness that can happen with many of the alcohol hand sanitisers. They however weren’t very keen on the strong pine scent and would have prefered something like lavender, they said it was not for them because of the scent.
The alcohol in hand sanitisers that is the key ingredient that helps to keep our hands free of germs and bacteria dries out our skin and because during this pandemic we are sing it so often, our skin on our hands can become dry, cracked and sore.
The Woodies CBD Hand Sanitiser contains;
- 250mg Pure CBD Oil
- Aloe Vera
- Sweet Almond Oil
- Vitamin E
- Natural Pine Wood Scent
This is what Woodies says about their CBD Hand Sanitiser
Endocannabinoids regulate the functionality of skin cells, including keratinocytes which form the protective outer layer of the skin.
When CBD is applied onto the surface of the skin, the cannabinoids activate and are able to inhibit inflammation, itching and proliferation.https://woodiesuk.com/
The matt black glass bottle with the Woodies logo looks really smart and would not look out of place in a ladies clutch bag or in a mans suit pocket on an evening out. It looks a lot better than pulling out the plastic bottles of hand sanitiser and so that is also a big selling point with this product
The 50ml bottle of Woodies CBD Hand Sanitiser costs £14,99 from their website and initially I was quite suprised by the price, but it lasts a long while and that is down to the spray applicator and the fact that you need to use very little to sanitise your hands.
And so I think the price balances out if you compare it to a pump or squeezy bottle of hand sanitiser.
