I have been sent the Urban Fruit Beard Balm for review purposes from The Urban Gent!
Yes I know I have said it before, but I do like a beard balm!
And of course that beard balm must have a base of natural ingredients and have a scent that is perfectly balanced.
So that is all the boxes ticked here!
The Urban Fruit Beard Balm from The Urban Gent has a base blend of
- Beeswax
- Shea Butter
- Cocoa Butter
- Jojoba Oil
- Argan Oil
- Sweet Almond Oil
The result is a pure white and very firm beard balm.
Now I like this balm, it has left my beard feeling and looking good and has a decent hold that keeps my beard in shape.
If I had to come up with a negative and this is purely personal, I would like it if a yellow beeswax had been used, I like that golden colour, it is that natural beeswax colour but that is really nit-picking!
The Urban Fruit scent is a blend of
- Sweet Orange
- Lemon
- Lime
- Grapefruit
And it is subtle but not too subtle and it has been blended really well. It is fresh and obviously citrusy and every now and then I just catch the scent coming up from my beard.
I do love a citrus scented beard product!

The presentation is very nicely done as the balm is boxed in a brown card box and that makes all the difference in my opinion!

The Urban Fruit beard balm comes boxed in a 2oz/60g screw top tin and costs £12.99 from The Urban Gent website.
