I have been sent the Twisted Moustache The Imperial Master Stache Wax for review purposes!

If you are looking for a brand that consistently creates products that are of the highest standard, well Twisted Moustache has to be high on the list of contenders.

In fact the brand is sat in my list of favourite brands for this exact reason!

First off the scent. It is a blend of Peppermint, Lemongrass & Frankincense and as I said in the review for the balm and oil in this scent, it’s amazing.

The fresh and cool peppermint is balanced perfectly with the burst of citrus lemongrass and then a very slight warmth and sweet, spicy and slightly woody Frankincense.

My compliments to the chef!

But I have approached this review as a review of the wax itself, as a range rather than including the scent. I have reviewed most of the brands scents and so I know the quality.

The Twisted Moustache stache wax has been long awaited and this was one that people were hoping they would get spot on, after all the brand name means that the wax would almost be their flagship product!?

It is a blend of Beeswax, Lanolin and Coconut oil and Anil and Annabel don’t release anything unless it’s perfect and I have to say, it is!

Lanolin is a fatty product of wool and we get Lanolin from Sheep that are bred for their wool. It is sometimes called wool wax or grease and I have heard a lot of talk about this product.

I am a fiddler, I tend to break down most stache wax products as I fiddle with my moustache way too much, but the Twisted Moustache Stache Wax laughed in the face of my fiddling and held on all day!

It isn’t a wax that will leave your moustache rock solid and I am glad as for me that just feels odd, but it will keep your lip fur in place all day and the photos from the Twisted Moustache trials shows what can be achieved when using this wax.
