I have been sent the Twisted Moustache The Imperial Master beard balm for review purposes.
He shouts from the rooftops!
I first reviewed for the brand 9 months ago and was instantly impressed with the quality of the products, the branding, it was all so spot on.
And so when Anil asked me to review for them again, I knew I was in for a treat!
There is a reason that Twisted Moustache is listed as one of my favourite brands and The Imperial Master has not changed my opinion on the brand.
The base for the Twisted Moustache balms is a blend of organic Shea Butter, Beeswax, Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil & Vit E and wow!
This is what a balm should be, it is a creamy smooth consistency and it left my beard feeling so, so soft and looking as good as my beard gets.
It is easy to work into your beard and a small amount goes a long way.
The Imperial Master scent is a blend of Peppermint, Lemongrass & Frankincense and I did wonder if the combination of Peppermint & Lemongrass would be too much and that the Frankincense would be lost.
I should have realised that of course Anil & Annabel who own the brand, wouldn’t release anything that wasn’t perfect!
The scent works very well, when I applied it to a damp beard, I got that coolness on your skin like the minty shower gels. The Peppermint is first with it’s fresh cool scent and then the crisp Lemongrass and then you get the warmth of the Frankincense that also gives a very slight spicyness and damn, I love this scent.
The Twisted Moustache balms are just bloody amazing and I highly recommend them.
The Twisted Moustache ‘The Imperial Master’ beard balm comes in a 60ml screw top tin and costs £15.99 from the website.
