Without a doubt Twisted Moustache have demonstrated that they consistently produce beard care products of a high standard and so not only does The English Gent get the ‘Golden Beard Award’ but I have awarded them the award as a brand as a whole!
The English Gent is a scent blend of Patchouli, Pine Needle & Bergamot and it is my favourite of the current four Twisted Moustache scents.
It has been blended perfectly and all of the essential oils compliment each other, this is what goes towards making a great product, you don’t want one of the scents so strong that it overpowers the rest.
The sweet and earthy Patchouli sits well with the Citrus scent of the Bergamot and the freshness of the Pine Needle.
The balm is a blend of Shea Butter, Beeswax, Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil & Jojoba Oil and the blend is super smooth with a medium consistency.
I prefer beard balm to oil, I like the hold as my beard has the tendency to look like I have just woken up and so keeping it looking tidy (tidier) using balm would always be my preference.
My beard has also felt nice and soft whilst using the Twisted Moustache balm.
The Twisted Moustache ‘The English Gent’ comes in a 60ml screw top tin and costs £15.99 from the website.
