VIDEO REVIEW AT END OF POST
Having previously reviewed The Sardar Co Original Blend Beard Balm, I had high hopes for their oil in the same scent!
The 30ml Original Blend beard oil has a base of;
- Grapeseed Oil
- Sweet Almond Oil
- Jojoba Seed Oil
- Apricot Kernel Oil
- Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Derived from coconut oil and glycerin)
- Argan Oil
- Tocopherol (Vit E)
And it didn’t give me the results that I get from other oils!
My beard was okay but not as soft as I would like or hope from a beard oil, I would expect my beard to feel softer as it has done when reviewing some other oils.
Now I am not saying it is awful, but it just didn’t do it for me!
I have to mention that I have a naturally dry and wiry beard and it takes a lot to soften my beard, but there are oils that do that.
The scent however did, it is a blend of;
- Sweet Orange
- Black Pepper
And it is a cracking scent!
The warmth of the Sandalwood is warm and bolstered by the Black Pepper and then you get the Citrus coming in and it is perfectly balanced and very nicely done.
I have to mention that the suction on the pipette is the best that I have come across. Sometimes they can not work very well and annoy me!
I have to mention the branding, it is smart, it’s clean and would not look out of place in the swankiest shop in Knightsbridge!
So a real shame that for me this oil didn’t quite perform as hoped.
The Original Blend beard oil comes in a 30ml bottle in a card box and costs £14.99 from The Sardar Co website.
