I received the Lemongrass beard balm from Rugged Nature as part of a beard care kit that also contained a Sandalwood beard oil, wooden comb and scissors.

The Lemongrass balm is a blend of Apricot Kernel Oil, Beeswax & Shea Butter and Lemongrass.

It is an okay balm, the blend is smooth and medium to firm in the tin. It is an okay balm, you certainly wouldn’t be disappointed but it isn’t the best of balms.

It did an okay job of keeping my beard looking and feeling good and the Lemongrass scent is a burst of fresh citrusness and the scent is for me a lot better than the Sandalwood scent in the beard oil.

Beard Kit

What I have to say is that the beard care kit costs £15 from Amazon and if you are on a tight budget, well this is without a doubt far better than the mass produced products that are usually found on the high street.

I really applaud brands like this that offer budget beard care that is made from natural ingredients. Many of the products that I review can be quite pricey and many of us don’t have the spare £’s to justify buying them.

The 50g beard balm comes in a screw top tin and costs £6.99 from Amazon.

Also available as;

  • Unscented
  • Sandalwood
  • Cedarwood
