VIDEO REVIEW AT END OF POST!
Okay, enough is enough, stop it!
I need some products that I can criticise and pick holes in, enough with the amazing products.
I have said before in reviews that I love the balms from The Old Norse and Heritage is no different, this one is all about the scent!
The base is a blend of
- Organic unrefined Shea Butter
- Jojoba Oil
- Argan Oil
- Sweet Almond Oil
- Apricot Oil
- Avocado Oil
- Vitamin E
The blend has resulted in a balm that is beautifully smooth, it sits just above a medium consistency and yet even on cold mornings like this, it is still easy to scoop from the tin.
I love a beard balm, that is no secret and so The Old Norse balms are a real treat. It works easily in your hands with no sign of any graininess and then leaves my beard looking and feeling good with no greasiness.
The scent, oh damn, the amazing scent!
It is a blend of
- Lemon Essential Oil
- Patchouli Essential Oil
- Bergamot Essential Oil
And this is how scent blending should be!
It is nothing short of stunning and the floral, earthy and musky Patchouli is beautifully complimented with the Lemon & Bergamot.
It is one of those products where I appreciate the scent blending skills that some of these owners and creators have. The scents seem to me to be the hardest to get right and Heritage is not only right, it is bloody fantastic!
So it gets one of these!
Yes the Superior Product award that is given to those that completely wow me and it has definitely wowed me!
The Heritage Beard balm is available in 60g for £13.99 or 15g for £5.99 from The Old Norse website.
