nveskin is short for ‘natural vegan eco skincare’. Owner and creator of nveskin Carole makes oils for skin care using only the finest organic, natural and ethically sourced oils.

So take that and apply it to beard oils and the result is honestly fantastic!

It doesn’t take long to tell if an oil is a good quality, maybe it’s because I have tested and reviewed so many? I dropped some of the Citrus Whiskers oil into my palm and instantly you can sense the quality.

As I have said before, I don’t look at the ingredients before I use a product, I don’t want to to be swayed by what I read and I like to form an opinion before looking at what an oil or balm contains.

It was however obvious what two of the ingredients of Citrus Whiskers was, that was Hemp oil as the oil has a lovely green tinge and also I could straight away smell Lemongrass.

The base

A blend of Organic Hemp, Argan & Jojoba carrier oils and you really can feel that these oils are of the finest quality.

And wow does my beard know it as well, my wirey old beard feels incredibly soft and of course this blend of oils will also look after the skin under the beard.

The scent

Four essential oils make up the Citrus Whiskers scent, Organic Sweet Orange, Lemongrass, Lavender & Cedarwood.

As I said the first scent that you get is the Lemongrass, it is fresh citrus scent and a very slight woodsy note in the background can be picked up when you warm it in your palm.

So an incredible oil with a nice scent, I have given the Citrus Whiskers a score of 95 as the scent is pleasant but it isn’t one to make me want to shout about it from the rooftops!

The nveskin Citrus Whiskers comes in a 30ml recycled glass bottle with a glass dropper to dispense the oil and costs £11 from their Etsy Store or you can add £3 to the order and the oil will arrive in a recycled premium black magnetic ribbed kraft eco friendly gift box.
