Review of The British Bearded Baby Night Tonic Beard Oil.

I really like this brand, the branding is unique and owner Dan Bridges is very passionate about his products and his customer service is spot on.

Again I misjudged a product, I presumed that the name ‘Night Tonic’ mean that it was going to be a thick, almost condensed serum like product designed to be used at night to repair your beard….WRONG!

As soon as I applied the Night Tonic Beard Oil, I realised why it was called that, the scent is a blend of Lavender and Rosemary. Lavender is proven to help get a good nights sleep, in fact we used to pick some from the garden and put it in my grandsons pillow case. Rosemary helps to produce vivid dreams and so the blend of these two oils is perfect to help you get a good nights sleep.

We forget that these essential oils that are used in the beard care products have proven medicinal qualities as well as smelling amazing and there a few beard care brand owners that utilise these benefits.

The base for this oil is made up from a blend of Sweet Almond, Argan, Apricot Kernel, Grapeseed and castor carrier oils. The Castor oil has given the oil a slightly thicker consistency and I really like that in a beard oil.

In fact that thicker consistency helped to give some hold to my beard as well as leaving it feel softer and all in all I think this is a very nice oil indeed.
