Now here is a balm that is going straight into my favourite products drawer, I keep a select few and this is one as I have to use it again sometime!

Superior Product

You might notice that this has a different award to the usual ‘Golden Beard Award’, I have been wanting to add something special for those products that are something special. So the products that are not only of a good quality but also impress me so much that I never want to let them go, get the Superior Product Golden Beard Award!

So why do I love this balm so much?

It is as the name implies a blend of Black Pepper, Grapefruit & Mandarin, the scent is warm very slightly sweet but it has been blended so well and it is a showcase of how good these small batch products can be!

The base for this balm is Beeswax, Grapeseed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Hemp Seed Oil and Vitamin E.

It has a nice firm consistency and not only left my beard feeling good but also gave a very nice hold and so kept my beard looking tidy (ish it’s a very messy beard).

But also what I love is that because owner and creator Gail uses only natural ingredients, this balm has a slight green tinge to it due to a batch of hemp oil being so dark in colour.

This happens a lot when using natural ingredients, beeswax for instance can vary in shade depending on what the bees are feeding on and also the capping, honeycomb and brood wax are different shades.

This has to be my favourite of The Beardy Beard Co balms and when I next get a break in the reviews, I will be using it again!
