Small batch, natural ingredients, hand-made, assessed & approved and a bloody good product, yep the Bear Head Grooming Braveheart Beard Oil gets one of these!
A base oil blend of Hemp seed, Almond & Jojoba carriers left my wirey old beard feeling so soft which isn’t an easy task and that whilst I have been using another brand beard wash that left my beard feeling very dry!
I previously reviewed the Braveheart Beard Balm and said that the scent wasn’t quite there for me, a blend Lavender, Mandarin, Frankincense & Patchouli essential oils and I said that the Frankincense was a bit overshadowed by the other oils and I actually felt that the Lavender was maybe not a good choice, but moving onto the oil and it is a different story!
The scents in beard oils generally are brighter than in the balms, so here I actually like the Lavender in this blend and I thought it was the Lavender that was foremost but my wife disagreed (surprise) and said she thought the Patchouli was the leading scent. The blend works well and owner and creator Grant is producing some nice scents as he gains experience.
The Bear Head Braveheart Beard Oil comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a glass dropper to dispense the oil and costs £11.99 from the website.
