I received the Suavecito Beard Serum from befaf, befaf are a 3rd party reseller of many well-known beard care brands and they are a good place to shop if you like the American beard care products as you won’t be worrying about the import duty.

I found the Suavecito Beard Serum from befaf very strange, like a product that I tested recently it contains ingredients that are silicone based and so when you apply the oil to your beard, it feels very strange.

Basically it is like the most silky feeling, your hands glide over your beard like they are made of teflon!

I am not keen on this feeling and I wouldn’t say that the end results justify using these ingredients!

  • Cyclopentasiloxane – Silicone gives a silky and slippery feeling to the touch
  • Dimethiconol – Will act as above as water repellant – can build up if not shampooed
  • Methicone – a silicone based polymer
  • Argan Oil

These ingredients form a barrier and so maybe this might have some benefit if you wanted to stop chlorine messing with your beard whilst swimming?

But for me it is a no thank you, a very odd feeling and I have had a much softer beard from products that contain all natural ingredients.

Suavecito are based in Santa Ana California and have become quite well-known through their hair care products and are also known through the tattoo and custom car scene in America.

The Suavecito Beard Serum comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the oil and costs £12.99 from befaf.
