I hadn’t heard of the High Life brand but I had heard of the company behind the brand, it is in fact owned by Imperial Dax who have been making hair care products in the USA for over 50 years.
The cream is unlike any other beard care product I have used before, it is akin to the old school hair care products and a small amount leaves your beard damp. Once it dries, your beard is left feeling soft and yet has a good hold to it and the product does remind me of the sort of products you would find in barber shops years ago.
It isn’t the small batch and all natural style product that I am used to and I would always prefer to use those, however it does leave your beard feeling really good.
The product as I said was sent by befaf for review and this is where these 3rd party resellers are very useful, buying products from America leaves the risk of incurring customs charges and the Royal Mail charge on top and that puts a lot of guys off buying the American products. This way you know that isn’t going to happen!
