I have been using Gentle Mane Beard Balm , it’s an unscented balm that is made from Beeswax, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba and Grapeseed Oil.
Gentle Mane Beard Balm

Gentle Mane Beard care balm is a what you see is what you get product, made from natural ingredients to make sure your beard is kept at its best.
Jojoba oil is very similar to human sebum, the oil that our sebaceous glands naturally produce and so it doesn’t bloke our pores and it’s not responsible for any allergic reactions, it’s also anti-bacterial and high in vitamin E.
Grapeseed oil is said to help with skin repair as it has antiseptic properties and can help with Acne and will also cause no skin problems, it is also high in Vitamin E.
Cocoa butter is beneficial to dry and sensitive skin, it also helps prevent and treats chapped lips and I have said to my wife that using balm will mean not having to worry about chapped lips again.
Shea Butter is moisturising and nourishing, it reduces inflammation and has antioxidant properties and is used in a lot of fast hair growth remedies.
Beeswax, what can be more natural than good old Beeswax, used to set the balm and also helps lock in hydration, it also offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral benefits.

Gentle Mane Beard Care’s Beard balm comes in a 30ml tin and costs £5.99. It did a good job at keeping my scruffy beard in place and is a medium hold balm, this beard balm will not only keep your beard looking good, it will also help prevent beard itch and beardruff and that is why those ingredients are a good mix.

I personally think it would benefit from a little vanilla thrown in to just slightly sweeten the smell of those ingredients, however like I have said before many guys use a scented beard oil and then they apply a little balm over the top to give their beard some hold and or tidy up those stray hairs that ruin a good beard day!

At this point Gentle Mane doesn’t have a website but they can be found on Facebook and Twitter.
