The Balm House Orphic Forest Beard Oil like all of the Balm House beard oils is an impressive blend of eight carrier oils that have been chosen for their benefits to your beard and the skin under the beard.
The blend of Jojoba Seed, Argan, Sweet Almond, Grapeseed, Apricot Kernel, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Hemp Seed & Vitamin E oils has definitely left my beard feeling soft and looking good, my beard is wirey and unruly but I am very pleased with how it is looking whilst testing the Balm House beard oils.
The scent of the Orphic Forest Beard Oil is warm fresh and woody and is my favourite of the Balm House scents so far! It is a blend of Sandalwood, Rosewood, Cedarwood & Pine Needle essential Oils and it has been blended very well.
I will always favour beard care products like this, all natural, handmade in small batches, it is what you should always use and of course let’s not forget that they have been assessed and the products have a CPSR which every product legally should have before being sold in the EU.
The beard care market is without a doubt flooded with brands and new ones appear weekly, so it is hard and getting harder to claim a stake in that. However I think that balm House has what it takes to gain and keep customers and with the launch of their Beard balm in July, I think they have a good future.
The 30ml Balm House Orphic Forest Beard Oil costs £12.99 from the website with free postage.
The oils are also available as;
Original Balm House – Unscented
Citron Provocateur – Grapefruit, Orange, Black Pepper & Cinnamon Leaf
Morning Dew – a minty peppermint base mixed with the zesty quality of citrus
Autumn Spice – Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Black Pepper & Cinnamon Leaf
Citrus Nefarious – Fruity and fresh
The six beard oils are also available as a sample pack of 5ml bottles for £8.50 from the website.
Balm House was founded in 2017 in the heart of rural Nottinghamshire. The business came about from a mutual love of all-natural cosmetics.
Balm House is run by Anthony and Charlotte.
For years Anthony had been searching for the right beard products, then turned to making his own. With Charlotte’s help and extensive knowledge of natural oils and aromatherapy, Balm House was born!
What do we do?

We want to help (FREE SHIPPING)
We want you to have the best product at the best price, so that’s what we’ve done, there’s NO hidden costs, NO shipping fees and only high quality ingredients used in our products.
We do things properly!
CPSR – CPNP – PIF – GMP
There are a lot of “companies” out there selling beard products without the required legal documentation. You can rest assured that we are doing things properly. All of our products hold CPSR (Cosmetic Product Safety Report) documents which are held at our head office in London (see the contact page for our address). Our products have been notified to the European authorities via the CPNP (Cosmetic Product Notification Portal). Each of our products also have compiled PIF (Product Information File) documents.
All of these are required by law in order to sell a cosmetic product within the European Union.
We also adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), all of our products are made in a safe and clean environment, all equipment and machinery is sterilised after each use.
All-Natural
No Parabens, No Sulphates, No artificial scents/oils
Our products are designed with your hair and skin in mind. Many competing products use artificial ingredients that may feel great initially, however these can be damaging in the long run due to the need to wash more harshly to remove the artificial ingredients. We only use natural ingredients, these will be absorbed and help to rejuvenate facial hair and skin after washing.
