And the last of the products to be reviewed from the box of products is the Mr Bear Family Moustache Wax.
I have to hold my hands up and admit that I don’t use moustache wax often and that is for two reasons.
- I don’t have a very good moustache
My moustache game is very weak and even when I do style it, it still doesn’t look good and I also am not keen on too much wax in my tash.
So I will always struggle to get as excited by wax as I would a balm …… I love beard balms!
The Mr Bear Family wax is a blend of the following key ingredients;
- Shea butter
- Argan oil
- Coconut oil
- Natural vitamin E
And it is firm, in fact it is very solid, but once you get some in between finger and thumb, it is sticky.
I like that because some waxes can get a bit crumbly in texture, they are too dry!
I have been scraping a small amount out with the end of my comb or just pressing my two index fingers onto the surface and rubbing and that actually is okay for me for daily use.
The fact that the wax has that beautiful golden colour, this is the colour beeswax is naturally, and so I am not keen on the pure white waxes as that means it likely contains bleached beeswax. The wax produced from the wax glands on a bee is white, but it is coloured from the bees walking over it and all the pollen.
I have said before that I am not that keen on a Woodland or woodsie scent, it has to be a very good blend to win me over with these scent blends and the Mr Bear Family Woodland scent is quite nice.
It is a scent blend of;
- West Indian Sandalwood
It is subtle in this wax, the wood scent hasn’t been over done and it has that slight floral note from the Lavender and it also has a slight warmth to it.
All in all a nice wax!
The Mr Bear Family Moustache Wax costs 129 SEK (Swedish Krona) which is £10.94 (at time of review) from the Mr Bear Family website.
