If there is one thing to say about Merry Band Beard Oil, it is that the products are bloody fantastic. The Merry Band Beard Oil ‘Rustic Charm’ Beard Balm is just so damn good!

I love the scent of this balm, it is made up from a blend of Tobacco Absolute Oil, Neroli, Grapefruit, Amyris & Scots Pine essential oils.

Unlike some balms, it’s got a nice strength so that you can notice it. The scent is warm and rich and actually quite a difficult one to describe, except for it’s bloody good. It amazes me how much I love the Tobacco, I always thought I wouldn’t like it because I am not a smoker, but a good quality Tobacco oil is very nice and that is what gives that rich scent. There is also a very slightly floral scent in the background and the oils have been blended so perfectly but that isn’t a surprise as Tom has already shown his blending skills in the beard oils.

The base for this balm is made up from Beeswax, Organic Shea Butter, Coconut Oil (Unscented), Arrowroot Powder, Vitamin E Oil & Moroccan Argan Oil. It is a medium to firm balm that has a perfectly smooth texture and it works into the beard easily leaving it with a nice hold and feeling bloody good and no greasy feeling at all.

My opinion is that you can’t go wrong with Merry Band Beard Oil. The oils have proven to be very popular and I am in no doubt that the balms will be as well. Couple this with a great bloke and amazing customer service and you have a brand that you can trust.
