Why F##k me this stuff is amazing, I started using the Dead Rugged Beard Care ‘Yokel’ Beard Oil three days ago and instantly loved it. The following days only proved that this oil was incredible and was more than worthy of my Golden Beard Award.
First off the Dead Rugged Beard Care ‘Yokel’ Beard Oil has a great scent, it is made up from a blend of Ylang Ylang, Black Pepper, Frankincense and Mandarin. The result is a warm and citrusy and I love the floral Ylang Ylang which is a first for me, I normally get the scent of burnt rubber from it, but not in this blend.
What has impressed me is the base of this oil, six carrier oils have been blended to create the base, Hemp seed, Jojoba, Apricot kernel, Grapeseed, Hazelnut and natural Vitamin E oil and the blend works very well. My beard was left feeling very soft and the oil absorbed well into my beard and left it looking really good.
Now of course you would expect that a 30ml beard oil that has this blend of six carrier oils and four essential oils with a glass dropper would be at least over £10 but no, it’s only £5.99 from the Dead Rugged website and I think this is another reason why this oil is going to be incredibly popular!
Dead Rugged Beard Care are a new brand and they have made one hell of an entrance, making a beard oil is not as straight forward as people think. After you have researched and chosen the carrier oils, you have to spend a lot of time experimenting with different ratios. A good beard oil needs quality ingredients and so this process can prove very costly but it is essential if you want to produce a good product. Then the same needs to happen to get the scents right, you can tell the difference between a well thought out scent blend and one that is just thrown together.
I have now moved onto the next Dead Rugged oil ‘City Slicker’ and again it is not disappointing.
