Review of Beardpilot ‘Romancer’ Beard Oil

2 min read

Beardpilot ‘Romancer’ Beard Oil is a very interesting scent, I describe it as floral, sweet with a slight spiciness in the background, but my wife can smell Liquorice in there as well.

As with the ‘Romancer’ Balm, this is the first scent I have tested where Cananga oil has been used. For me this is very welcome, it’s an alternative to Ylang Ylang and whilst most people get a floral scent from Ylang Ylang, I like some others get the scent of rubber and so it can ruin a product for me.

In Beardpilot ‘Romancer’ Beard Oil the Cananga oil has been blended with Cedarwood and Nutmeg and they work very well together and create that floral scent with a spicy background.

This is mixed into the Beardpilot base that is a blend of Apricot oil, Argan oil, Jojoba oil, Avocado oil and Sweet Almond oil. This blend leaves your beard feeling soft and looking good, I am a big fan of the Beardpilot brand since first testing some of the products last year and they are one of my Top 3 brands.

Beardpilot ‘Romancer’ Limited Edition Beard Oil is available from their website and it costs 249,00KR for the 30ml bottle which is just over £28 at today’s exchange rates (23/2/17)
