I have been testing a pair of Aoodle Bluetooth headphones over the past few days, I am not an expert when it comes to headphones but I did put them through their paces! This is an honest review of my experience with these headphones.

Aoodle Bluetooth headphones

The first thing I need to mention about the Aoodle Bluetooth Headphones is their price, I am a father to two daughters aged 21 and 23 and I have heard them discussing headphones and prices before, Aoodle Bluetooth Headphones normally sell for £30 but are currently available for £19.99 with free delivery from Amazon. However do not let the price fool you, these headphones don’t look, feel or sound cheap!

The headphones arrived packaged in a cardboard box, the front has a magnetic flap so that the product can be viewed without opening. Inside the box is a pair of Aoodle Bluetooth Headphones, 3 sets of Ear Buds (Small / Medium / Large), a carry Bag, USB Charge Cable and Instruction manual.

The Aoodle Bluetooth Headphones come ready charged and so you are ready to go, on a full charge the headphones give 8 hours talk time, 140 hours on stand by and 6 hours of music playback. Charge time is 2.5 hours using the supplied USB cable that can be used in your PC or Laptop USB slot or can be plugged into a USB plug.

The headphones are a very comfortable fit, I found the medium ear buds fitted well for me and they sit very firmly in my ear. Not having a wire trailing out of my Tablet was so much better and connecting the headphones via bluetooth 4.1 was a doddle. I held down the MF (Multi Function) button for 5 seconds to turn on and then hold down again until the led flashed red and blue and then selected “Aoodle AD1002” on my tablet.

The headphones have a built in microphone to handle hands free calls.

I decided to really put the Aoodle Bluetooth headphones through their paces and I started by playing New Orders ‘Blue Monday’, I am an 80’s kid after all, the headphones produced the most amazing sound and so I wondered how good they really were?

I then turned to another favourite, Star Wars ‘Duel of the Fates’ the Sith Battle Theme and once again the Headphones delivered an incredible sound. I then typed in to YouTube “Headphone Test” and this popped up and proved to me just how amazing these headphones really are!

Headphones aren’t just for music and so I then played something that I listen to a lot, I suffer with chronic pain and when it gets really bad, I use this to try to calm down and relax, it’s a rainstorm with thunder rolling in and I have listen to it hundreds of times. I have never heard it like I did through the Aoodle Bluetooth Headphones though and I laid there immersed in a thunderstorm.

Next was film and I again turned to Star Wars, it’s a Fan Edit of the Pod Race from Star Wars Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace. I love the films but the Pod Racing is amazing, the sound is incredible but through the Aoodle Bluetooth headphones it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. The sound was just beautiful and the scene became even better than it had ever been before.

You just wouldn’t expect to get a pair of bluetooth headphones for this kind of money that produced such incredible sound, headphones that handle music, film and voice calls so well. The noise isolating ability of these headphones is perfect, especially when I was listening to the Thunderstorm MP3. The headphones are Bluetooth 4.1 and have a range of 10 metres. Of course I failed to see one problem, I asked my daughter to test them and I have now lost them to her, she loves them and as daughters often do, she told me she loved me and got her own way!

To receive a call you press the MF button once and hold for 2 seconds to reject a call, holding down the volume +/- button mutes a call. Whilst listening to music the MF button pauses and restarts the track, whilst a double press of the volume + button takes you to the next track and a double press of the volume – button takes you to the previous track.

If you are looking for a pair of in ear Bluetooth headphones, then I recommend these Aoodle Bluetooth headphones, sound that will impress and a price that won’t break the bank and that is coupled with an 18 month guarantee!
