I wasn’t expecting to like the Mountaineer Brand ‘Pine Tar’ Beard Oil, I had found the ‘Pine Tar’ balm to be a little strong but as soon as I warmed some of the oil in my hands, I knew that my preconceptions were wrong!
I am a big fan of ‘Pine Tar’ soap, I love the smell and it is very good for the skin and helps to sort out quite a few skin problems and the ‘Pine Tar’ balm is now being used my wife’s step father as he suffers with very itchy skin.
The Mountaineer Brand ‘Pine Tar’ Beard Oil has a more complex scent than the balm, the oil has a deeper scent and the Pine Tar is gentler. The Lavender and Eucalyptus essential oils really help to add a freshness to the Pine Tar and have been blended to give a balanced scent.
The oil was easily absorbed by my beard and left it feeling softer and of course the benefits of Pine Tar will help to stop dry skin and itching on the skin under your beard. I did find that I needed to apply some more of the Mountaineer Brand ‘Pine Tar’ Beard Oil mid afternoon as my beard was starting to feel a little dry by then.
Mountaineer Brand ‘Pine Tar’ Beard Oil is made from 100% Natural oils and Creosote Free Pine Tar which is very important, if you suffer with dry skin and or very itchy skin then this oil will help to sort that out. I get very dry skin and using a Pine Tar soap has really helped to keep it under control.
Housed in a large 2oz sized bottle Mountaineer Brand ‘Pine Tar’ Beard Oil is available at the bargain price of $12.50 from their website.
