Review: Magpie Hill Beer Soaps
2 min readRhian has been busy in her soap workshop and she has produced a new range of Magpie Hill Beer Soaps that have been made using the beer from a local brewery!
The new soaps are a partnership with Hobsons Brewery and so as you probably have guessed, the soaps are a Beer Soap range and they contain 23% beer.
Beer soap lathers well and is a healthy alternative for your hair, it contains B Vitamins that help to repair and restore the hair. Amino acids coat and help to repair your hair and are great for your skin.
The soaps are:
- Beer Soap with Stout
- Beer Soap with Ale
- Christmas Beer Soap
- Honey & Hops
- The Pits Beer Soap with Charcoal
- Sandalwood & Bergamot Beer Soap
- Citrus Beer Soap
I used the Christmas Beer Soap, The Pits and Honey & Hops and as always these soaps lather like crazy and leave my skin and my beard feeling great. I have ditched the shower gels and I only use the Magpie Hill soaps now, my skin feels better and I now wonder why I used products containing ingredients that only Stephen Hawking would understand. And yes I know he is a Physics professor and not chemistry, but he is the only science guy I know!
The Soaps are a great gift and these are just the latest in the Magpie Hill range, they come packaged in a box and I think they are great soaps for the price!
The soaps are available from Magpie Hill Soap or Balbo Beard Co and cost £4.
There are also soap gifts sets available on the websites.
