I have just finished using Balbo Beard Co #4 Beard Oil, as this was the fourth oil from this brand I was confident that the oil would be a good one, so it was just really now assessing the scent!
Made from the same base of Grapeseed, Jojoba and Argan carrier oils, Balbo Beard Co #4 Beard Oil is quickly absorbed into the beard. The oil doesn’t leave your beard feeling or looking greasy, you are just left with a softer and healthier looking beard. The oils will also help to prevent Beard Itch, Beard Dandruff and Split ends, also the oil is 100% natural and I recommend always using a product that is natural.
The scent is Peppermint and Ylang Ylang and I’m afraid I don’t get along with Ylang Ylang!
Ylang Ylang is described as sweet and slightly fruity floral and custard like scent, however a few people like me get a floral and rubber scent and so this beard oil is a fresh Peppermint with rubber……now that isn’t a scent that I hate but it is a little strange.
So I guess its reminiscent of doing wheel spins whilst sucking a Trebor extra strong mint and yes I know I am weird!
Of course scent is a very personal thing, we all like different scents and smell things differently. This oil has a very fresh and floral aroma and this review is just my opinion on a scent. Having tried four of the Balbo beard Co oils now, I can honestly say that these oils are very good quality and great for your beard.
