Top 5 Beard Balms & Butters You Should Buy!

Top 5 Beard Balms & Butters You Should Buy!

I like a good beard oil but I prefer beard balms, this is because the balms help to keep your beard looking tidy as they provide a degree of hold.

But the problem is that there are more beard care brands than ever and it is difficult to know which to buy!

Well I have tested and reviewed over 400 beard care products and 123 of those have been beard balms and butters.

The following Beard balms and butters are made from natural ingredients but they have also been assessed and approved for sale in the EU, this is important and vital that you check before buying from brands that they have this!

So here are the Top 5 Beard Balms & Butters You Should Buy!

The Butter Source – Pineapple

The Butter Source 'Vanilla' Beard Butter

This has remained my No 1 product since first using it in December 2016,

Even though it is labelled as a beard butter it has a thicker consistency than a beard butter, it is a whipped, smooth product that has a slightly heavier consistency and my beard never looks as good as when I am using The Butter Source!

It is a blend of Shea Butter, Jojoba Seed, Avocado, Argan, Coconut & Black Seed Oils and Aloe Vera.

A massive 150gr tin and costs £14.99 from their website and you only need a small amount to leave your beard feeling soft and looking good!

Robin Hood Beard Co – Dark Honey texture Balm

Review of Robin Hood Beard Co Dark Honey Texture Beard Balm

The Robin Hood Beard Co Dark Honey balm is just incredible, the scent is perfectly blended and I can’t recommend this balm enough!

A base of Organic Safflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Natural Vitamin E Oil, Shea Butter & Yellow Beeswax has resulted in a beautifully smooth balm that gives a very nice hold and leaves your beard feeling so soft.

The 40ml Dark Honey Texture Beard Balm costs £12.95 from their website.

Balbo Beard Co – #5

Balbo Beard Co '#5' Beard Balm

I have said it before and I will say it again….You can’t go wrong buying from Balbo Beard Co!

The #5 scent is one of my favourites, a blend of  Patchouli, Pure Sicilian Bergamot and Sandalwood has resulted in the most incredible scent and many of the members of ‘Guardians of the Beard‘ love this scent.

The base of Organic Shea Butter, Organic Beeswax, Hemp Seed Oil & Argan Oil has resulted in a smooth balm with a medium to firm consistency that leaves your beard feeling nice and soft.

A 15ml jar costs £4.99 and 60ml costs £14.99 from their website.

Bedfordshire Beard Co – Dark Pepper

Bedfordshire Beard Co 'Dark Pepper' Beard Balm

The Bedfordshire Beard Co Dark Pepper balm is without doubt the best Dark Pepper scent that I have used. It is warm and of course peppery and captures the scent unlike any other product I have reviewed.

A blend of Shea Butter, Beeswax, Almond oil, Grapeseed oil, Hemp oil, Apricot kernel oil and Jojoba oil has resulted in a medium consistency balm that is smooth and left my beard feeling soft.

Bedfordshire Beard Co ‘Dark Pepper’ Beard Balm comes in a 60ml (2 fl.oz) screw top tin and costs £14.99 from their website

Scruff Stuff  – Black Pepper and Bergamot

Scruff Stuff 'Black Pepper and Bergamot' Beard Balm

Scruff Stuff owner and creator James Harte is one of the beard care greats!

He consistently produces top quality beard care and doesn’t rush to increase his range of products and so you know that when something new comes along, it will be amazing!

And amazing is exactly what we have here in the Black Pepper & Bergamot balm, many try to perfect black pepper and not many do but here it is in all its glory accompanied by beautiful Bergamot.

The 50ml / 1.75 fl oz Scruff Stuff ‘Black Pepper and Bergamot’ Beard Balm is available from the Scruff Stuff website for £12.95
