Oh damn, The Old Norse ‘Merchants Origin’ Beard Balm is bloody amazing!

SUPERIOR PRODUCT GOLDEN BEARD AWARD

I love citrus scents and I adore the smell of a good Frankincense oil and so The Old Norse ‘Merchants Origin’ Beard Balm has to be my perfect scent blend. It is a blend of Lime, Mandarin and Frankincense and it has been blended so well.

The scent has that fresh citrus burst from the Lime and the sweet Mandarin with the warmth of the Frankincense and I just can’t get enough of it!

The Old Norse ‘Merchants Origin’ Beard Balm has a base of Unrefined and Organic, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Oil, Avocado Oil and Vit E.

The balm has a medium consistency and so is easy to scoop from the screw top container, I used a small amount and after softening the balm in my palms I worked it into my beard.

The  Balm left my beard feeling softer and gave it a medium hold and there was no greasy residue. I prefer a balm over an oil as it helps to keep my messy beard in check and this balm did not disappoint.

The 60g balm comes in a screw top container and costs £11.99 from The Old Norse website.

The balms are also available as

  • Hunters – Bergamot, Sage & Cedarwood
  • Glacial Fjord – Grapefruit & Sandalwood
  • Winter Nights – Peppermint, Ylang Ylang & Juniper Berry
  • Norwegian Fir – Lemon, Fir Needle & Lavender
  • Baltic Breeze – Unscented
  • Dawn – Orange, Ylang Ylang & Cinnamon

Of course I also have to mention the re-branding, the labels are now coloured and a different colour for each scent. The products look amazing and I am sure this will boost the sales of this brand as branding is so important and hard to get right and Chris has definitely got this right!
