Well we all know that I love a beard balm and even more so when it is a Mariner Jack Balm, couple that with an incredible scent blend and we have a very happy Zec!

The scent of the Libertalia balm is made from a blend of Sandalwood, Patchouli & Leather fragrance oils.

I can firmly say that the only clue that fragrance oils have been used is obviously the Leather scent but also the fact that this scent lasts so long on my beard.

I have on a few occassions been put of by fragrance oils and stated my preference for essential oils, but that has been because some and it is obviously the cheaper of the fragrance oils, they can have that alcohol scent that is very noticeable and that is not the case here!

This really is an amazing blend, it has a warmth and slight resinous scent and I like that it is very different to many of the other scents we get in beard care that can be very alike.

The base is a blend of

  • Shea Butter
  • Beeswax
  • Argan Oil
  • Sweet Almond Oil
  • Jojoba Seed Oil

The result is a balm with a medium consistency and it is so creamy smooth.

It left my beard feeling soft, gave a nice hold and all in all, a bloody lovely balm!
