The Balbo Beard Co Pineapple Cubes Beard Oil is a lovely oil but there is one problem!

Balbo Beard Co Retro Sweets Range

The Pineapple Cubes scented oil is one of the scents in the Balbo Beard Co Retro Sweet Shop range and the scents so far have proven to be very popular.

The base for these oils is a blend of Grapeseed, Argan and Jojoba carrier oils and the quality of the oil is very good, even from the moment I dispensed some into my hand I could feel it and it left my beard feeling nice and soft and of course it will also care for the skin under the beard.

I also really like the scent!

So what is the problem?

Well as soon as I had a smell of the Pineapple Cubes oil I knew instantly that I recognised the scent, but it wasn’t pineapple cubes. So I asked my wife, my two daughters and my daughters boyfriend and they all agreed with me.

Pear Drops!

Yes the scent is spot on for pear drops, but obviously I had to be a little more scientific with it and so I sent my wife on a mission to get me some pineapple cubes and some pear drops and because I take this seriously, I made sure to eat quite a few to make sure I was right.

So if this is judged on being a Pineapple Cubes scented oil, well it hasn’t worked in my opinion.

If it was labelled as Pear Drops well it would be a Golden Beard Award oil but it isn’t!
