    Pros

    • Scent is amazing
    • Softens Beard

    Cons

    • Fragrance oils used
    • Label lacks vital info

I have been using Gonzalez Beard Co ‘Coffee & Chocolate’ Beard Oil, it is a relatively new brand and the website is still yet to be launched.

The first thing that needs mentioning is the scent, it is the deepest richest chocolate and coffee scent, it is one of those oils that you can’t stop waiving under your nose. The oil is clear and has a thin consistency and is made up from Grapeseed, Jojoba and Argan carrier oils and the scent is made up using Coffee and Dark Chocolate fragrance oils, which has to be expected here as you couldn’t achieve this scent using essential oils.

The Gonzalez Beard Co ‘Coffee & Chocolate’ Beard Oil left my beard feeling soft and looking good, the base oils are good choices and the blend has produced a nice beard oil. I suspect though that some people may be put off by the fact that this is fragrance oils and not pure essential oils. I have had reactions to some fragrance oils in the past and have had to send the oils to someone else to test, but I didn’t have any problems here and I have quite sensitive skin!

As I said the website is yet to go live and I will publish that when it does happen, the Gonzalez Beard Co ‘Coffee & Chocolate’ Beard Oil is made in Sweden and comes in a 30ml bottle with a glass pipette dropper and costs €10. For now you can contact the brand through Instagram
