The first thing people say about this brand when I post a photo, is how much they love the branding. The Bearded Rapscallion logo was designed for us by the awesomely talented artist Quyen Dinh of Parlour Tattoo Prints and I have to agree, it looks damn good.

I have been using The Bearded Rapscallion ‘The Jolly Rascal’ Beard Balm for the past few days. Added to the superb branding is the fact that they use glass jars for their balms and it gives the product an upmarket feel.

The balm is made up of unrefined Organic Shea Butter, Organic Beeswax, Premium Pressed Argan Oil, Golden Jojoba Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Vitamin E. This has resulted in a pale and very smooth balm with a light consistency and it is very quickly worked in seconds in your palms and is then easily worked into the beard hair. This gives a nice but light hold to your beard and I was very impressed with this balm.
The Bearded Rapscallion ‘The Jolly Rascal’ Beard Balm is a blend of Frankincense, May Chang & Cardamon. This results in an almost ancient smell (if that makes sense?). It is warm and spicy with a slight citrus scent and it is nice to test something with such a different scent, with so many beard care products on the market it is hard to be different but The Bearded Rapscallion have done exactly that, I have to admit that it took me a day to come round to appreciating the scent.
