Mountaineer Brand ‘Coal’ Beard Oil is a 2oz (60ml) sized oil, which is really important if you have a Mountaineer sized beard!

The ‘Coal’ scent was my favourite of the scents when I used the beard balms and the scent is even better in the beard oil. To properly get the full aroma you need to first warm the oil in your palms before applying and the Sage, Peppermint and Patchouli come through so well.

The aroma of the aromatic Sage and the freshness of the peppermint are backed up by the sweet and earthy Patchouli and the blending is perfect, the essential oils are balanced so well with the oils working in harmony rather than trying to out compete each other.

Mountaineer Brand ‘Coal’ Beard Oil is a lightish oil containing Grapeseed, Sweet Almond and Castor carrier oils as a base, the oil is absorbed into the beard hair easily and leaves it feeling naturally soft. Grapeseed oil is absorbed very quickly and has anti-inflammatory properties and helps reduce spots, Sweet Almond Oil is great for softening hair and helps combat dry skin and Castor is a rich oil that helps stops itchy skin and prevents spilt ends.

This is why it is important to use companies like Mountaineer Brand, the products are 100% natural and they pick the ingredients to help keep your beard not only looking and feeling good, but also to keep the skin and hair follicles in the best possible condition and therefore give your beard a boost.

The 2oz (60ml) Mountaineer Brand ‘Coal’ Beard Oil is housed in a plastic bottle that is dark blue to help prevent UV light damaging the oils and it has a screw top lid. It is available from the Mountaineer Brand website for $12.50 which is £10.17 at today’s exchange rate (8th Jan 17) and you can save 10% by signing up for a subscription order for a 1, 2 or 3 month repeat delivery.

Mountaineer Brand About Us

Mountaineer Brand was started in 2013 by Eric Young. Eric personally researches and develops his product with a passion that can be seen in his work. Mountaineer Brand was born after Eric struggled to find quality beard care products at a price that he could easily work into his already tight budget. Eric began to make beard oil and balm in his kitchen thinking it would be a nice hobby and that he could supplement his meager income.

Mountaineer Brand is dedicated to simplicity and value. We use top-quality, 100% natural ingredients and we never add anything artificial–no chemicals, no fragrance, no compromise.  Our packaging is simple; we skip the decorative bottles and other unnecessary packaging, and since we don’t spend money on fancy packaging, neither do our customers. Mountaineer Brand allows you to experience a luxury product without the financial sacrifice.

Mountaineer Brand is now sold world-wide on the Internet and to retail clients in Sweden, Australia, and other locations across the globe. You can find our products on the shelves in many well-know retail locations such as Whole Foods and Dillard’s as well as several small retail and boutique locations throughout the US. Our ever-growing presence in the marketplace is a testament to the quality of our products and the loyalty of our customers.

Although we have a global presence, West Virginia is our home. Like most West Virginians, our state is a source of pride. The name “Mountaineer Brand,” of course, is a nod to the Mountain State, and  the state motto is included as part of our logo. The motto, “montani semper liberi” means “Mountaineers are Always Free”. West Virginia will always be part of who we are. Wild, Wonderful, Free.
