EDIT: I have had a lot of messages over the past year from guys who have had issues with getting their order or having problems and getting no response when contacting the brand! A shame as this was one of my favourite products.
I previously tested The Butter Source ‘Pineapple’ Beard Butter and announced that it was my No 1 recommended Beard Care product. The Butter Source ‘Chocolate’ Beard Butter has only reinforced my love for this product and so it easily gets the Golden Beard award that I give to my favourite products.
So what is it that makes me rate this beard care product so highly?
First is that the Beard Butter is 100% natural and is made from Shea Butter, Jojoba Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Peppermint Leaf Oil Black Seed Oil with Essential Oils to create the Scent.
Then it’s the fact that it leaves my beard feeling and looking so good. The Beard Butter actually looks like a soufflé, it is very light in texture. When you work it in your hands it gets a little denser and feels more like a clay (although I have actually never used a clay), you only need a small amount and once thoroughly worked into your beard it leaves it soft, it gives a nice hold keeping the stray hairs in check and your beard looks damn good.
It’s quite worrying when I recommend a product so highly, this is after all just my opinion. However I have tested 170 + beard care products and so I do have something to base that decision on. Several guys on the ‘Guardians of the Beard’ Facebook group have purchased this product after I recommended it and it was nice to see their positive comments on it.
The Butter Source ‘Chocolate’ Beard Butter comes in a 150g tin, that’s 5.3oz and costs £14.99 from the website which I think is incredible value as you really do only need a small amount to make your beard look and feel incredible.
The only downside is having to stop using it as I have to test other products, if and when I do stop reviewing beard care, this will be my daily beard care product!
The Butter Source Beard Butter is also available in Vanilla, Mint and Pineapple as I mentioned before.
So basically what I am saying is this, head on over to The Butter Source and buy some and you will see what we mean.
